Rural needs of India should be addressed in globalisation process if the country wants emulate the Chinese economic growth model, according to petroleum minister Mani Shankar Aiyar. He said excessive focus on development for urban elite, while neglecting rural populace in the march towards globalisation, would spell trouble for Indian economy.
