GMAC Mortgage Corp., one of the nation's largest financial services companies and a subsidiary of General Motors Corp., will begin offering special loans for homeowners who want to add solar power equipment to their houses. The project is part of Pres. Clinton's Million Solar Roofs Initiative that offers a 15% tax credit up to$2,000 for purchasing rooftop solar equipment.
