In a strategic move, Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) has decided to supply lignite to the 375 mw multi-fuel power project being developed by Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) at Ghogha near Bhavnagar with the state-owned Gujarat Power Corporation Ltd (GPCL) as the nodal agency, according to Gujarat's energy minister Kaushik Patel.
