Nanje Gowda: Senior leader of Karnatka and a former MLA H N Nanje Gowda on Wednesday appealed to chief minister S M Krishna to go ahead with the Alamati dam project, including laying of skin plate. He said though the resuming of works on laying of skin plate would amount to violation of the Supreme Court order, the state should not hesitate to protect its interests on the Krishna waters sharing issue.
