PANJIM, NOV 21 The Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) has ranked Goa as the third best performing and developed State and the first best investment attractive State out of the 16 small States and Union Territories in the country. The ranking has been based on category wise performance of the States which deals with the overall achievement with the GDP as the most important determinant from all the categories. The general achievement reflects the strength of the economy, employment opportunities generated, distributional aspects of the economy and government finance wherein small States and Union Territories such as Delhi and Chandigarh top the ratings.
