Mr Madhav Godbole, Chairman of the committee set up by the Democratic Front Government in Maharashtra to renegotiate the terms of the controversial Enron power project, resigned from his post early on Wednesday morning in protest against the "derogatory" statements of NCP president Sharad Pawar.
