The Prime Minister will soon constitute a special Group of Ministers (GoM) to finalise a long-term strategy for the hydrocarbon sector - India Hydrocarbon Vision 2020. Ministers of Finance, Petroleum and Natural Gas, Power and Environment are likely to be on the group of Ministers, which will finalise the framework based on the recommendations of the Internal Working Group of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
