The state government on Wednesday decided to set aside Rs 60 crore for a series of watershed development programmes in Saurashtra, Kutch and north Gujarat for the financial year 2000-01. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting at Gandhinagar. Till now, a mere Rs 1.5 crore was set aside for the purpose, it was officially learnt.
