In an effort to offer some solace to consumers before the impending hike in the prices of petroleum products, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Ram Naik announced on Wednesday lifting of the ban on inter-state sale of products, including diesel, by national oil companies.This step will allow bulk consumers to avail the benefit of lower taxes.
