The Karnataka State Cabinet at its meeting today decided to raise certain fundamental questions regarding the powers of the judiciary in its appeal against the February 27 judgment of the Karnataka High Court ordering a CBI probe into the Cogentrix Power Project. It was decided to question the right of the High Court directing the Government (Chief Secretary) to register an FIR with CBI.
