A two-day meeting of women entrepreneurship development and artisans-at-work organised by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation was formally inaugurated in Islamabad. A large number of women entrepreneurs and artisans from all the four provinces, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas are attending the event. Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz, the chief guest on the occasion, said that present government was taking all measures for the empowerment of women in all sectors including political, economic and social.
