Govt to allocate Rs 1,180 cr for Haryana`s development

Haryana Finance Minister Birender Singh has said the State Government plans to assign Rs 1,180 crore for infrastructure development during the current financial year, Rs 300 crore more compared to last year's allocation.Mr Singh also said education should be a top priority and promotion of education encouraged. For this a sum of Rs 2,180 crore will be provided.Taking a potshot at Om Prakash Chautala, former Chief Minister, the Finance Minister said, "Chautala himself being less educated perhaps could not stand people more accomplished than him."
