Union water resources minister C P Thakur has assured Anna Hazare that the government will speed up work on rainwater harvesting throughout the country. The minister told the noted social worker of Maharashtra during a meeting that he proposes to invite all eminent experts in water harvesting and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) working in the field for a meeting next month.
