Govt to launch drive against petrol, diesel adulteration

The government will soon launch a special drive to check mal-practices, like adulteration, in the marketing of petroleum products, petroleum minister V K Ramamurthy said at Delhi on Tuesday. He also announced the formation of four sub-committees under the parliamentary consultative committee of the minister to go into the problem adulteration and other mal practices. The committees will start working from January 1, the minister told a meeting of the consultative committee.
