The Central Government today announced a decision to launch a Rs.275-crore "Jain Kalyan Gram Scheme" to adopt one village in each district in the country for all-round development as part of the plans for the year-long celebrations of the 2600th "Nir.vana" anniversary of Lord Mahavir commencing from April 6.
