Increasing energy consumption and rising pollution levels have finally resilted in the government waking up to the need to develop non-conventional energy resources. And where better to begin than the Capital where such resources can be utilised in several areas like policing, industries, education and buildings. Aiming to popularise non-conventional energy as cheap and easily availabile, the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Integrated Rural Energy Planning and Development is organising a three-day national programme on "Motivation and Leadership Requirements for IREP and for Popularising Non-Conventional Energy Technologies".
