The Delhi government today requested the Supreme Court to relax its September 30 deadline for the CNG drive saying the Centre had failed to supply the required amount of fuel. In its affidavit filed today, a day before the hearing of the case, the Delhi government requested the court to "allow plying of public transport fleet on multiple-fuel mode including in-use diesel buss till such time as the CNG supply agencies are able to provide normal supply of the fuel".
