Former Prime Minister V P Singh demanded toady that the government must not enter into any "new agreement" at the WTO ministerial meeting in Doha without seeking approval of parliament and the state legislators. The resolutions adopted at the rally also demanded that the government should come out with a white paper to explain its position on the negotiations.
