Green groups push US to act on ozone problem

Ten U.S. health and environmental groups on Thursday accused the Environmental Protection Agency of "foot dragging" and threatened to sue the agency to begin enforcing a 1997 law designed to curb ozone. The American Lung Association and other members of the coalition of advocacy groups said standards put in place to help communities trim ozone have not been followed, leaving millions of Americans at risk for developing respiratory problems such as asthma.
