Greenpeace has called on Thailand and other Asean states to embrace a clean and sustainable energy future through the use of renewable and efficient sources other than fossil-fuels. At a regional workshop on climate change and energy organised by the Asian Development Bank and the UNDP, Greenpeace presented its report, The Big Switch-Renewable Independent Power Producers: An Analysis of Future Independent Renewable Power Production in the Southeast Asian Electricity Sector.
