Greenpeace demanded the immediate cessation of all EU aid programs for nuclear safety in Eastern Europe following the release of the EU Court of Auditors report which found the programs had completely failed. Instead, they called for the money to be spent on immediate closure and decommissioning programs for high-risk nuclear reactors in Eastern Europe.
