In a bid to provide a boost to the languishing power generation sector in the country, the Keshubhai government in Gujarat is making fresh efforts to revive the 900mw Gulf of Kutch tidal wave power project which was mysteriously accorded a quiet burial by the government some years ago. Sources in National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) revealed that the filed pertaining to the project which were gathering dust in the ministry of non-conventional energy sources have recently been fished out and are being freshly examined.
