GVK Industries Ltd, the first power company to get off the ground in the fast-track project category with its first phase of 240 MW at Jergapadu in Andhra Pradesh, has decided to set up fresh power projects of 1,460 MW in the country with an estimated investment of around Rs 5,790 crore.For this purpose, the group would be floating three new companies for completing the project.
