Besides the Government company Indraprastha Gas Ltd as the proposed sole supplier of CNG in Faridabad and Gurgaon, the Haryana government said it was also considering proposals from private enterprises. Phasing out of vehicles in the NCR, it has been stated, will only take place, once there is firm assurance of adequate supply of gas. Saying this before the Supreme court, the State Transport Controller, Haryana, said besides IGL, private companies like Gujarat Adani Energy Ltd and Haryana City Gas Distributors Ltd have also come up with propsals on providing gas distribution.
