Haryana has ranked second with 95.49 per cent utilisation of funds for centrally-sponsored rural development schemes in the year 2000-2001 followed by Tamil Nadu. According to an official spokesman, this was culled from the performance report of various States under the Rural Development Schemes for 2000-2001 released by Union Ministry of Rural Development recently.
