The Sarkar Apke Dwar programme launched by the Haryana Government has seen a sum of Rs 430.4 crore being released for the implementation of Rural Development schemes as compared to the Rs 142 crore released by the previous Government. Under this programme, the Chief Minister (CM), O P Chautala, accompanied by senior officials of the administration meets people who might have any grievances against the Government. Grievance applications are received by the Gram Panchayats whose representatives the CM meets. All the applications and the announcements made by the CM regarding the redressal of the grievances are entered into a computer in the CM's Secretariat. A copy of this is then submitted to the concerned Administrative Secretary for necessary action.
