The annual Plan of Haryana for the current fiscal has been pegged at Rs 2,068 crore with the State Government being given the option to raise it to its budgeted Rs 2,100 crore. This was decided at a meeting between the Planning Commission Deputy Chairman, Mr K.C. Pant, and the State's Minister for Finance and Planning, Mr Sampat Singh. In his initial remarks, Mr Pant said the Plan panel has put in place quarterly review of the achievement of the State to facilitate implementation of development programmes and timely removal of the obstacles.
