Egg is good for heart, and in contrast to common belief, levels of cholesterol are not affected by the consumption of egg, the National Egg Coordination Committee said on Saturday. Quoting research done by Dr Donald McNamara, a scientist belonging to the Royal Society of Medicine at the University of Arizona, the NECC said those who consume one egg a day have a lesser risk of heart attack than those who have one egg a week.
