The Karnataka high court has directed issuance of notices to the Union ministry of environment and forests for allegedly not complying with its directions on the controversial Cogentrix case. The notice was issued by Chief Justice Y Bhaskara Rao and Justice V Gopala Gowda on a contempt of court complaint filed by Janajagruthi Samithi and environment group of Nadikoor (Mnangalore district).
