In a writ petition filed as public interest litigation by Dr barinder Singh, president of Ludhiana Medical Welfare Association, for action against 'self-styled' doctors practising in Punjab, a Division Bench of the Punjab and Haryana High court today directed the Punjab and Haryana governments and UT administration to take action against the so-called doctors who practise allopathy medicine without any degree or diploma in that field.
