Issuing notice to Ministry of Tourism and Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) on a petition seeking preservation of various water bodies in the Capital, a division bench comprising Justice Anil Dev Singh and Justice O P Dwivedi of the High Court criticised the Delhi Government for filling up the water bodies in the Capital. A joint survey was conducted by various civic bodies to identify the water bodies in the Capital. The survey identified atleast 508 water bodies.
