Taking a serious view of the dengue outbreak in the Capital, Delhi Health Minister Yoganand Shastri on Monday ordered immediate closure and drying of all artificial water bodies in the city including public fountains till the cases of the disease come down. Stating that the move was vital to check the breeding of mosquitoes, he added that the Health Department would extend all financial support to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to purchase equipment and fogging machines to control dengue.
