Health project along the National Highway

At a time when health experts warn of the ticking AIDS bomb, a unique health project in remote North-East may set an example for the rest of the country in combating HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. The project Chalachal began as a sexual health project for truckers and their helpers cruising along the National Highway 31 - connecting North-East with the rest of the country as the incidence of HIV and sexual diseases was very high among them.
