Hearing on HPCL's Mangalore pipeline project inconclusive for second time

The environmental public hearing on Hindustan Petroleum's Mangalore-Bangalore petroleum pipeline in Bangalore was inconclusive for the second time. The Deputy Commissioner, Mr. M.K. Shankaralinge Gowda, offered to call another hearing, if necessary, after studying the comments and objections raised at the meeting. The hearing committee would review the entire feedback in the next 10 days, he said.The environmental hearing is part of a series of meetings held before giving the ecological clearance to the 364-km petro pipeline project of HPCL.
