A number of patients returning after organ transplant or surgical operation in India and third countries have later developed hepatitis B or C, a deadly blood borne disease that is nearly 100 times more infectious than HIV, doctors said. This was stated by Dr Santosh Man Shrestha, who has done considerable research in viral hepatitis.
