High-rises to be blamed for high smog levels

Even as Mumbaiites pull out their woolens to tackle the chill in the air, city doctors are busy treating a steady stream of patients suffering from various respiratory problems. There is a drastic rise in such cases during winter, as the increasing levels of smog (combination of smoke and fog formed due to accumulation of particulate matter suspended in the air) during this season, aggravates lung problems.
