On the eve of a major regional energy meet, Nepalis today hoped that Energy South Asia forum would help address Nepal's pressing energy issues as upper riparian entitlements, promotion of indigenous technology and manpower, and the domestic economy's poor absorptive capacity. Energy South Asia, slated for March6-8 in Kathmandu, is being organized by the US agencies Trade and Development AGency (TDA) and Departments of Energy & Commerce and Agency for International Development (AID).
