The increase in the charges of bottled water have affected 2000 consumers. Initially, the manufacturing was manually done. However, recently, an automatic plant was set up by the DJB to make the process purer and faster. Around 400 bottles can be manufactured in one hour now. The exorbitant increase of Rs 10 is pinching the daily consumers. "We have to think twice before consuming water now. Kids are punished if they waste water. It has become a big problem for us," said a resident of Lajpat Nagar.
