HP bags Rs 2.2 cr. more from Plan Panel

The Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal announced in the Vidhan Sabha on Thursday that the Planning Commission has sanctioned an additional Central assistance of Rs 2.20 crore to State over and above the Central assistance of Rs 7 crore already released by the Planning Commission. The State Health Minister J P Nadda announced in the House that a plague surveillance, unit would be set up in Rohru in Shimla district, which would undertake continuos surveillance in the epidemic prone areas.
