Mr Prem Kumar Dhumal, Himachal Chief Minister, has said that by 2010 Himachal Pradesh would generate 10000 MW of hydel power yielding Rs 1500 crore annual income to the state. He declared that the nominal hike in the power tariff would be withdrawn after some time when state would start getting adequate income from power generation.
