Himachal Pradesh would soon harness 21,000 megawatt of its hydroelectric potential. Mr Shanta Kumar, the Union Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, while addressing a public meeting at Indora in this sub-division today said that with the approval of the Government of India, Himachal Pradesh had embarked upon new hydroelectric projects at cost of Rs 22,000 crore.
