Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) has practically closed the deal with CMS Energy Asia as its technological collaborator for the proposed 500 MW gas-based power plant at Vishakapatnam. Sources in the company further said that the deal should be finalised by early 2001, and CMS Energy through had been asking for controlling stake, would be given 24 per cent.
