The Housing and Urban Development Corporation has agreed in principle to finance the Rs 875-crore Krishna Water Supply Scheme to provide drinking water to the twin cities. This was announced by Union Minister of State for Urban Development Bandaru Dattatreya at a press conference after reviewing the various urban development schemes with the State government officials.
