An Indian government delegation led by Commerce Minister Ramakrishna Hegde on Tuesday requested the Bangladeshi government to consider supplying natural gas to India to help bridge the widening trade gap between the two countries, domestic news agencies reported. The Indian minister made the request to his Bangladeshi counterpart Tofail Ahmed during talks on Tuesday, the Press Trust of India said.
