While the US and many other Western countries are on the brink of major breakthrough in xeno-transplants, India is still limping towards a well-legislation, fool-proof organ transpalnt programme, and is in dire need of a policy that facilitates cadaver organ donation, Indian-born experts based in the USA and UK have said.
