India to host global radiology meet

If the proliferation of MRI and CT scan are taken, Mumbai and New Delhi account for nearly 50 per cent of these expensive, hitech gadgets that were critical in providing quality medicare, Maj. Gen. S.K. Dhawan of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association has said. The association is hosting the five-day 20th International Congress of Radiology beginning September 19th here. It would be the first time that India was organising such a major event and would focus on extending hitech medicare to rural areas.
