Indian scientists have finally come up with an oral vaccine for cholera.This oral recombinant cholera vaccine is the fruit of two years of research by three scientists - Dr Amit Ghosh of the Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh, Dr G.B. Nair of the National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases, Calcutta, and Dr Ranjit Ghosh of the Indian Institute of Chemical Biology.
