Indians as a race face the highest risk of suffering from coronary artery disease, according to Dr. S.C. Manchanda of the PGI here. Delivering the keynote address at a two-day symposium on "challenges of New Millennium Focus on Preventive Cardiology" at the PGI here, Dr.Manchanda observed that whenever people migrate from the rural to urban areas or go abroad, they suffer from a significant risk of coronary artery disease.
