Hemavathi reservoir recorded an inflow of 163 cusecs of water following rain in Mudigere taluk of Chikmagalur district of Karnataka. The reservoir had an inflow of 78 cusecs. Meanwhile, Alur and surrounding villages recorded an average rainfall of 6 mm. Intensity of rain in the coastal region has decreased after two days. However, it continued to be cloudy in Karwar today after heavy rain. Meanwhile, according to reports reaching here, rain has also slowed down in the taluks in upper ghats.
