Investigation reveals 412 more orphans used as guinea pigs in South Korea

A scandal involving a local pharmaceutical company's illegal human testing of an epidemic hemorrhagic fever vaccine on orphans,involved 412 more cases than previously announced, a lawmaker has claimed. Rep.Kim Hong-shin, a lawmaker of the opposition Grand National Party, contended Monday during the National Assembly's inspection of the operation of the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) that the testing had been conducted even on women who were able to bear children.
